Thought I would open up a a new thread, so that we can post stuff for fellow Kidmaniacs to checkout during these trying times. We all have varied tastes and yet there are linkages that will connect us and probably give some ideas or motivation to checkout something new.
Its not Kidman exclusive, but if you have watched a Kidman movie/show recently just mention it!
Anyways I have been rewatching Star Trek: Next Generation which has been excellent in beaming me up into a different universe, other items of note has been studio ghibli films which I can't recommend enough, My absolute favourites are princess mononoke and Howls Moving castle, but they all are special and worth watching atleast once, most recenlty I have watched the Cat returns.
in terms of films I will be watching the Invisible man soon, hope its as cracked up as critics made it look.
Most recent Kidman film watched is Cold Mountain, I'm such a sap, am aiming to watch the upside and Genius.

Agree with HaurvatatL - I just finished season 2 of " Kingdom" on Netflix and I loved it. It has chills, thrills, and hearts. Korean cinema and TVs are among the highest qualities, I believe. I am also quite obsessed with " Schitt's Creek" (on season 4 after three weeks). I only started watching that show because of how much Nicole seemed to love it when she met the cast at the Critic's Choice Award in January. I gotta say, Nicole got great taste !

Oh lovely, I was thinking about starting a new thread like that! Thank U I just finished watching Shrill, fun easy watch, the girl is hilarious. Another recommendation, Border, a film recommended by Kidman, very disturbing, yet beautifully made, worth checking, need to be in the right mode for it. I heard good staff about Giri/Haji I might give it a try. Stay safe and postive xxx

"for Sama" a documentary, it's heartbreaking, but a beautiful film, nominated for the Oscars and won the BAFTA. Definitely recommend x

Thank you for the recommendations. I haven't had a lot of time - things are catastrophic at work - but was able to watch Belgravia (first 2 episodes) during the morning commute and it's pretty fantastic. I also have been watching Little Fires Everywhere and I 100% agree, Reese Witherspoon is predictably but fiercely playing the mid-Western extension of Madeline Marthe McKenzie. But I have to say, the show although soapy, is actually very very watchable. It's intense and troubling. And while by no means phenomenal, it's far superior to the choppy Morning Show.

I've started Schitt's Creek too because Nicole is seeing it! I have just started Season 5 and Oh My... this is truly hilarious. If Catherine doesn't get the Emmy I will be mad. Her storyline as ornithologist Dr. Clara Mandrake is too good.

I'm watching S2 of Leah Remini's Scientology series - god, I find the whole thing fascinating(ly horrifying) - I would DIE to know what Nicole knows and what she experienced...!

I watched these a while back, Remini's material although limited serves as a very dramatic and effective expose on the horrors of scientology. If you're interested I highly recommend Louis Theroux's "My Scientology Movie".

Thank you very much for your recommendations, dear Kidmaniancs. I am afraid I will be finishing Kingdom tonight! Oh well, time to binge watch Six Feet Under from pilot to endn, then. I am reading a lot as well these past days. Books I have loved so far: How to Be Both (Ali Smith) Ghost Wall (Sarah Moss) Women Talking (Miriam Toews) The Testaments (Margaret Atwood)
