it means the show is entertaining enough for him to keep going with, or at least hot enough to make him change the tone for (or forced by) his audiences.

People are so quick to judge nowadays, because click bait is immediate.

I don't really understand how you can review a TV show without seeing all the episodes.
The story might take time to build and the last few episodes might be the best of the show once you know the characters more.

I don't know guys. I saw the whole thing. I still think it was so-so. Nothing to write home about. Very reminiscent of forgettable 90s TV. No re-watch factor. Her role was clearly written as an add-on and carried no value or memorable impact. In a year, would anyone be talking about it? Did it do anything to her filmography? I don't know. Really glad some of us liked it though. Meaning it wasn't a total waste.

I used to luv her like an artist in vacuum, want her to work work work with all the top directors, but as I'm getting old, I understand the living part, the real life side. and it's not like she signed a 10 season lifetime melodrama, so I don't think this is that guilty, yet I got what you're frustrated about.

For me it is a complete forgettable project, I hope they don't do more seasons. I didn't like Nicole's performance either, It felt forced and contrived.
Zoe was the only good thing about the series.

Just finished the show, pretty much like what u guys said, very forgettable, shallow writing, forced lesbian love story to attract audience "didn't like that" big production with no soul. Was it entertaining? yes, was it good? definitely no. Kidman and Freeman were just wasted and souley to elevate. No character development, no attachment, like Erik said they should have released the whole thing in one go, binge it and move on and forget about it. Kidman's performance was no note.. she should have sticked to producing only, I'm sure the show will be a decent success, but nothing to remember. Zoe, Lyasla and Stephanie were good enough. It was kinda cool to see mainly women characters running the show, but sadly lazily developed, unwillingly executed.
