Now that we know that she will be filming in Germany as early as February, maybe 'Holland, Michigan' will screen at the Berlinale in the Special Events section after premiering in Sundance ? It happens often with some American productions such as 'She Came to Me' or British ones like 'Good Luck to You, Leo Grande'.

My wish would be Berlin : 'Holland, Michigan' Cannes : 'The Perfect Couple' so she can walk the steps with Adjani Venice : 'Babygirl' + 'Spellbound'

I really want this one to be good since Nicole is also producing it. A little apprehensive though, they need to get the right tone with this story. I wonder when it will get released, maybe in the fall ?

I wonder when it will get released, maybe in the fall ? I'm not sure Kidman is part of the producers... No idea what's the amazon strategy for HM. It was not listed on their video announcements for 2024 and I don't see a Film Festival that really match with it. Maybe Telluride or New York? I think is pretty sure is going to be released very late this year. Can't wait for it.

this is her 5th time "producer" work (not only "executive producer" but full control),
after In The Cut 2003, Rabbit Hole 2010, Monte Carlo 2011, and The Family Fang 2015.
so I hope it goes to Venice or Cannes or atleast Telluride, she had Toronto premiere twice.

Oh! So she is producing. It was not a project of the Blossom Company and I didn't notice...

I can't make a calculated guess - for the life of me. Definitely not Sundance in Jan 2024. Definitely not Berlinale in Feb 2024. Slim chance SXSW March 2024. Doesn't feel like a Cannes project (May 2024). Telluride or Venice in September 2024?
Who knows.

funny that Variety didn't know Kidman is a 5 time nominee now. It would be very fitting, then, if "Holland, Michigan" made it six!
