I heard the book is a bore, my partner hated it, I usually trust his opinion so didn't bother reading it. I was hoping for a film confirmation, I think she is got too many tv projects going on. I hope she ends up producing. I know it's off topic horribly, but is he as hot as you are? Hehehe thanks I guess 😅🙈😘

Since she mentioned in the Elle feature, shooting will start next spring, I wonder about the casting. If this is set in Australia like the novel, I'd think they'd go for a primarily Australian cast.
Here's what my impression/casting ideas are (just assuming it'd be an Australian cast. Also, it's more of a wish-list. No way they can gather an all around star cast):
Frances, a disheveled romance novelist, whose life is unraveling from multiple rejections: Her publisher spurned her new book, she got an especially stinging review and she has been victimized by an online catfishing scheme that cost her dearly. I feel like Toni Collette would be a great choice. May be Rose Byrne.
Tony is a beer-bellied former football star who encounters Frances mid-hot flash along the side of the road. I actually thought Russell Crowe could play this one. Not plausible. May be a chubby Eric Bana or David Wenham or Joel Edgerton.
Jessica is a social-media and plastic surgery-obsessed lottery winner, seeking marriage therapy with her mechanic husband Ben. I actually thought about Liam Hemsworth.
Carmel is a chubby single mom of four who was dumped for a younger woman by her bored hubby. Rebel Wilson would actually be perfect.
The most relatable, real characters are Heather and Napoleon and their daughter, Zoe, who have escaped to Tranquillum to endure the anniversary of the death of Zoe’s twin, Zach. (I thought about Guy Pearce for the dad's role.)

Naomi Watts could work as Heather, but I’m not sure if she is too busy with GOT prequel. Mia wasikowska could be Zoe (despite being older than the character)Teresa Palmer could be Jessica.. I really enjoyed the book. And Nicole will be a perfect Masha.

Honestly with all these projects I don't think she'll find the time to do a play before, what, 2022 ?

Damn, I was REALLY wanting NPS to be set in Australia...😞😞😞 How disappointing! That was my expectation too especially because the charm of the 'resort' was it was set in the gorgeous outback. But understandably to give funding, Hulu probably wanted it to have American stars and be based statewide. Would be interesting to see what cast they end up assembling.

This also includes her executive producer duties.
