love the new crawford pic poison! hopefully we'll reach the target soon. Thank you for noticing. ''Humoresque'' is my favourite Joan performance. I mean the beach scene, that ending! She was at her most beautiful too. Glad to see the target has been reached. Look forward to the countdown! I forget I'm not the only huge Crawford fan on here <3. Humoresque is my second favourite from Joan. Right after A Womans Face, which is one of my all time best performances!

With Erik's list we are currently at 23 total submissions! Deadline is day end Sunday the 23rd of June 2019.
I'm so glad we managed to bypass the previous exercise we did on IMDb both in terms of participants and breadth and scope of Kidman's performances, in total 43 unique performances were nominated by users!

It's so nice to chat to others about Joan Crawford and it actually be about Joan Crawford, her films etc. ''A Woman's Face'' is a masterclass of acting. Truly incredible stuff! I could watch it tonight, but i'm going to be having a Kidman marathon! I wish i could have gone to the Joan BFI season last summer in London. A friend kindly sent me some merchandise. Lovely her work valued.

And it completely devalues the Oscars in my eyes, especially seeing Streep get nominated for any old crap year after year...

Brilliant actress. ''Baby Jane, ''Humoresque'' and ''A Woman's Face'' and possibly ''Autumn Leaves'' were all worthy. I would say ''Rain'' but at the time it was well received. MGM could have easily pushed Joan's name for some noms. Like ''Dance Fools Dance'' and ''Paid'' especially. ''The Women'' she was too big a star for supporting then. Still i am glad she won and was a multiple nominee. In the 50s she must have done a bit of everything acting wise. Had Pepsi not taken a lot of her time, perhaps we'd have had a couple of more films. Sorry to go on! I love talking about Joan and especially her work and actually her lol. The Oscars even back then were hit and miss. Look at Barbara Stanwyck and Marlene Dietrich! And today Michelle Pfeiffer, Glenn Close and Sigourney Weaver. I adore Mariah as well. ''Butterfly'' will always be my favourite.

I thought she should have won for "The Women" (tried with Rossalind Russell), but I can understand why that didn't happen. I personally would have also nominated her for "Grand Hotel", "A Womans Face" (win), "Humoresque", "Harriet Craig", "Queen Bee", "Johny Guitar", "The Story of Esther Costello" and "Baby Jane". Her run in the mid 40s was just incredible. She showed more talent and range in those films than Davis or Hepburn ever did, for me.

Thank you so much guys we're at 25 now!
Vinceit was wondering if you were going to post!
we've already gone beyond the IMDb list ,and that's was my objective. 25 lists from 25 Kidman fans gives us something concrete to work with and hopefully the derived list is a fair representation of what we hold very dear in Kidman's work.

I love all those films you mentioned. 1950 was a packed year. ''Harriet Craig'' is one of my personal favourites. Very complex character. A lot tend to see bitch side, but there's a lot of depth to the character i feel. I agree, i adore Davis too, but she had her fair share of OTT acting and not so good films, which some fans i feel are biased towards her. I've never rated Hepburn.
