I don't really like when remakes of foreign films from the previous year are made. That aside, I love the plot. And finally not another murder mystery series. I prefer spins this or Things I Know To Be True this year (as a 2022 series) rather than Pretty Things or one of the thousand other books it has the rights to.

this sounds very promising, I;m loving the shift in themes of her project from popcorn to really serious drama both this and lucile and things I know to be true could be very special or not, but it has the potential.

With regards to families dealing with trauma, loss and grief, anyone else sensing overlaps with Things I Know to Be True?
Having said that, I love the plot and would surely be watching the movie now. Miss Lady is not going to wait for men to put her in their movies. Miss Lady paves her own way. Kudos.

Oh another TV project! I just watched the trailer, I really wanna see the film now. Mmmm I'm never a fan of remakes, and Nicole's history of remakes is not encouraging, the subject matter is very delicate and could be very depressing, not sure if it should be a TV show, can they reamke it in a film using the same director?

I think if Maria Sødahl also does the TV version, will be a good choice. but whoever directs, I feel like the male lead actor is more important.. let's begin our casting event now! me: Christoph Waltz, Demián Bichir, Mads Mikkelsen, Mahershala Ali, Ken Watanabe, and Russell Crowe. Obsessed with this list! I've been wanting Nicole to work with Mahershala for a while now, and I LOVE Mads.

This sounds too similar to Things I Know To Be True, and I'd MUCH rather her do Things I Know To Be True than this (especially when it was a film made so recently!).

I really don't get why she keeps spending money on projects that are never going to happen. I am not saying this one in particular will not materialise but she has acquired the rights of so many things in the past two years that it's becoming a bit silly if you ask me. Even if she only produces them, she still needs the time for that. Who remembers Cuddles, Crime Farm and many others? I really don't get it.
Ideally she would become the female version of Brad Pitt. Although Brad seems to have a better eye as a producer.

I think she is doing pretty good with the projects that end up produced, with the exception of Monte Carlo lol remember when that was supposed to have her and Julia roberts leading... But yea I don't get it, way too many projects... And she always ends up doing something out of the blue.. I hope the Lucille film happens.
