Bump. Looks like Rabbit Hole is a winner here. Thanks to everyone for participating!

Add Rabbit Hole to mine. Stronger performance. More captivating. Cold Mountain is wonderful. Not one I always go back to. Sometimes I prefer to get lost in the smaller ones, if that makes sense or the performance based ones. “Birth”, “Dogville” “Margot....” and “Destroyer” etc.

honestly speaking, Cold Mountain is probably the best film that year..
even LoTR won like everything, but the third one is not as good as the other two, but the industry have to give to it, understandable.
also another snub Mr.Crowe's Master and Commander was wonderful.
yet Rabbit Hole is very brave, deep theme, challenging performance.. it's a difficult choice and just by personal taste to make, I guess.

Started rewatching it today. Definitely a better cinematic experience visually speaking. Superb work, great war scenes. Forgot how talented Minghella was.
