Hello lovely people! We haven't had a poll in a while. I wanted to see which of Kidman's upcoming projects (and boy does she have a lot of projects!) are you most excited about? You can select up to 3 answers, and the poll will be closed in a few weeks' time. I'm definitely voting for Lucy and Desi (a new title for the movie according to IMDb!), although while doing research for the poll I got intrigued by My Lovely Wife. The plot sounds like a relative of To Die For and I'm here for it! Let's discuss.  |

Yes, it's a bit hard to get excited for some of these blank-slate productions. Have you read any of the books, Mr Dedlock? I've subscribed to Audible and I'm loving it (reading at the gym mostly), and would love to get one of these myriad source materials she's purchased the rights to. (note: I've read Big Little Lies, The Expatriates and Pretty Things - and I loved all three) |

So Things I Know to Be True is a good play? And My Lovely Wife iis great save for the ending? Ok cool Unfortunately I haven't seen nor read the play yet, but I'm just going by the synopsis.  I have however read both My Lovely Wife and Mice and they are both great - but yes, My Lovely Wife plays back into the "woman = evil, man = innocent one seduced by woman into doing bad" trope which I find abhorrent and REALLY hope Nicole pushes to change in the scriptwriting process. |

I'll be interested to read your thoughts on both books! I lent MLW to one of my best friends (who is an aspiring author, and has a brilliant book I've read the draft of!), and she shared the same sentiments regarding the ending. |
