Wow. New season of BLL plus another mini series?
I think that's great.

Never heard of the book. Did anyone read it? Is it any good? Here's Janet Maslin's review in NYT: www.nytimes.com/2014/03/27/books/you-should-have-known-by-jean-hanff-korelitz.htmlkinda mixed I can understand Kidman is trying to strike while it's hot with television, another quality project with HBO, but kind of been there done that, after two seasons of BLL, and a very similar role in The Goldfinch. I hope it's a success and she gets her own Shondaland in the end.

Reviews for this are mixed, but the material is potent right down Kidman's alley.
Just from the synopsis I feel this would work better as a film /thriller. But by today's standards that will probably end up as a shabby straight to vod title.
Atleast HBO will give them money.

Hmm. Her son goes missing and life gets turned upside down. Sounds like Strangerland to me. I also don’t think Kidman has the draw for a series’ high ratings all by herself. And I agree with whoever said BLL2 is enough. Not a fan of this project, especially if the book received mixed reviews.

Sounds interesting. With all the Big Little Lies success this has a good chance at least doing well. Not saying it will be acclaimed. The character and story doesn't sound like it's anything new for Kidman though.

I have faith in David Kelley's writing. Of course it's going to be director dependent but I hope it doesn't end up like Naomi Watt's 'Gypsy'.

If they get a good director, I’m on board. I am sure they will. I believe Kidman can now choose whoever she wants. And it's HBO, everybody wants to work for their prestige projects.

If she reclutes big names for The Undoing, it could be another hit... What better to find roles for Naomi Watts, Huppert, and some of her friends!...
