I’m disappointed becouse i hope for something new. I don’t think Moriarty is that talented. But the story seems interesting.

I think it sounds like something light hearted and potentially beautiful , this could be Kidman's version of Maggie Smith's "Love and pain and the wholde damn thing".
Also Kidman as an author and nursing a broken heart, well that in itself has me quite intrigued.

I hope it's like The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel or something. warm and commercial. I was thinking about the exact same movie, kaniska! It sounds interesting enough to me, at this time. I can see it as a Nora Ephron-ish project and I hope it's not too dark. Here's the synospsis:

How many books written by Moriarty does she own the rights of? I honestly lost the count. The plot does not sound very enthusiastic if I am frank.

Kidman/Moriarty is apparently the new Hanks/Eggers or Depp/Thompson

It feels like a new project is announced every week but we still don't know what she's shooting this fall.
Could she be negotiating for the role of Marmee in "Little Women" ? It's a rather small part but it's directed by Greta Gerwig.
Of course there is speculation that Gerwig will cast Laurie Metcalf.

It's Moriarty Overkill. She should look elsewhere. With all those book projects she won't be able to do anything. But I guess it's a good strategy for her business, especially in the light of her Amazon deal.

I think it sounds potentially awesome if it was to be filmed by someone really off the wall, like Lanthimos or Cronenberg (who I have always wanted her to work with...)

I think Nicole may have been looking for a more light hearted or, at least, a "popcorn" movie, which i don't mind. I just hope it becomes a hit like Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
More than having a very good, artsy director, I just hope they nail it on the casting. With 9 or 10 characters, this has great potential for Nicole to work with a very interesting mix of commercial and serious actors. I don't know the characters yet but with a big ensemble, this could be fun. I hope actors like Naomi, Carey Mulligan, Judi or Maggie, even commercial stars like Chris Pratt and Melissa McCarthy. Maybe some SNL members/alums like Kristin Wiig (or Tina Fey or Amy Poehler). Sandra Bullock would be a great get too.
As for the potential love interest, I'm not sure who I want that could make it a commercial hit (even if mildly). Someone like George Clooney? I like George, especially if the role calls for a charming actor who could be funny. I'd love it to be Michael Fassbender just to change it up with a new teamup but not sure with him on a "light hearted" film.
With 9 (or 10) actors, one can dream, right?! Who would you cast as the other actors in this ensemble?

Yeah I agree with erik and Kaniska,
I think its time for her tiny production company "blossom films" to blossom and bear fruit!!!
So far all shes got to show for it are these
Rabbit Hole sold to lionsgate Monte Carlo sold to fox the family fang went no where straight to streaming via starz digital. Big Little Lies which went to HBO and gave the company a big boost.
so she should strike while the iron is hot and push forward producing more films/ shows but the key is attractin the right people.

Hopefully producing only, I don't prefer Nicole in likeable characters, she excels better in darker staff.

Janet Maslin writes about upcoming adaptation quite extensively in her book review:

do you think it's better to have it as a movie or tv series?
