Sooo... Everyone on twitter did a panic-check and turns out one mom in the play was a Tony-winning role, but not Amy's, which... HONESTLY. You'd think 6 Oscar noms and a great voice would give you at least that. But... they're both around 50 so I'm thinking... If Nicole really wanted to work with Amy... the other mom role is RIGHT THERE. And it's an award-winning role. Looks like Juju Moore got the part? Hmmmmm deadline.com/2020/09/julianne-moore-universals-dear-evan-hansen-movie-1203028675/

Hmmmmm deadline.com/2020/09/julianne-moore-universals-dear-evan-hansen-movie-1203028675/I watched the Broadway play. It's the best live musical I've ever seen. Julianne Moore's role (the one that won Tony's best supporting actress) will be absolutely incredible if she can pull it off. She has a diologue in act two with a heart breaking sequence and an outstanding solo in vein of "I dreamed a dream" (the song is not as good though still very moving) that sweeps the entire audience to tears. Amy Adam's role, however, is paper thin, arguably the lightest and least used out of the core cast. Having said that, with Amy's tremendous talent (yes, I am her fan), I bet they are beefing it up. At least I hope so.

Oh. Even if they offered that project to Nicole she was probably in the mood like after doing Moulin Rouge and being offered Chicago back in 2001:I didn't wanna do another musical:) Mixed feelings about that project. Sounds entertaining especially after reading raves from to die for. Still cast is similar to The Prom for me - big names mixed with some questionable acting talens. Director is quite basic and have in common with musical. Not sure what to think. Still... so many projects are being announced. I mean so many every day! Blanchett, Adams, Moore are getting one role after another. In motion pictures. Not tv-series. Where's something for Nicole?! She's busy right now but she will be available for 2021 with exception for The Expatriates in the fall maybe. Just maybe.

I am hoping a little for Nicole getting a role in new Damien Chazelle project with Emma Stone and Brad Pitt. Script is incredible and there is a role for Nicole but everybody are teasing Meryl instead.

Nicole is way too young and attractive for the role in Babylon. The character (an influential parasite who writes gossips about beautiful people in Hollywood) is in mid-60s at the start, and the film goes on and on for a decade.

he actually won that Oscar for the incredible Whiplash, not Meh Meh Land. I hope he finds his mojo back soon, cuz First Man was just sloppy and dull. I think Academy gave the trophy too soon, maybe industry needs another young US champion so bad? just like Emma Stone's overrated best actress. (which belongs to Isabelle Huppert. Stone was very fresh and promising in Easy A & Birdman, not so much in La La Land & The Favourite though..)

Everything could be changed:) It just age but still juicy role and Nicole would be perfect for it.

I think US audience had problem with it because it was not enough "triumphant" way of the telling very important story. Personally I loved Chazelle intepretation of that story.
