Of her age group, Nicole is clearly the most in demand actress currently working. Big Little Lies, Lion and 2017 changed everything. I'm glad she's doing this, because it sounds fresh, topical and interesting. I also think we may have dodged a bullet with Nicole and Little Women, because I suspect they may have tried to get Nicole onto that lazy remake. Agree on everything, except I wouldn't mind seeing her in "Little Women", at least it has a female director and it would be great to see her in an ensemble piece. However, it seems "Fair & Balanced" is shaping up to have quite the cast.

I think Charlize Theron will be the absolute lead like Sandra Bullock in Ocean's 8, but Nicole and Margot will get the juicy, meaty roles of Cate Blanchett & Anne Hathaway, border-line co-lead/supporting but still central!!! But Megyn Kelly wasn't that prominent in the real story!.. Yeah, Gretchen brought him down, Megyn only started banging the drum after Gretchen did all the hard work. Megyn's role amplified after she had that Tiff with Trump.

... and let's not forget that Kidman already has one tv-reporter role in her filmography, and we all know how that panned out

I took at Jay Roach's filmography ( never heard of him) but have watched most of his films to mixed results.
However, one underlying theme in his films comedy, so I'm wondering if they're aiming for this film to be a black comedy.

Yeah he directed a lot of Adam Sandler trash, but also Julianne Moore's Game Change, which was very good.

OMG That's too much to handle. Nicole, Charlize and Margo. Great. And director of Trumbo and Game Change.

Finally we know what she's working on this fall ! Off topic and random, but before the announcement of Fair & Balanced, I was c-e-r-t-a-i-n she would sign up for the screen adaptation of CATS. It would set her up with Tom Hooper, who's taken over two projects she previously was involved with - The Danish Girl (that Theron also once was attached to, next to Kidman) and now His Dark Materials, that he's directing for BBC. Anyway, this project is much better

Gretchen Carlson i think is receptive to the casting and she also doubles down on being the first to come out against ailes.
