Loving The Great as well, I would die for a Kidman period movie/series, I need to see her in costumes lol ;~~~~ Me too!!!ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ My partner and I made numerous comments about how much young Nicole would’ve NAILED this role (just as Elle did), and how HOT Nicole would’ve looked in all those corsets and period clothes!!!!

Wow finished the great yesterday as well, I actually find Elle to be good, I felt like she needed to bring more depth to several scenes that required emotion like the speech and even in the finale but overall she carried the series and gave us somebody to root for,
Nicholas hoult stole the show for me, how can somebody depicted in such a despicable manner wim me over and make me actually care if he survived or not.
Anyways it was an entertaining and funny season.so good on them and hulu.

It's phenomenal. The Favourite x 10 and more. And probably Elle Fanning's best work although Hoult was even better.

Yes, The Great is pure, unapologetic fun. Absolute delight. I always laughing and keep rewinding to my favourite moments all the time. Great satire and mix of both Lanthimos's The Favourite and Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola.

So I started watching "things we do in the shadows" a spin-off of the 2014 film. Really well made, clever and just funny. If you liked the film, you would like the show.

Mrs.America. It's a MASTERPIECE. Not sure if I was moved that way since finale of Big Little Lies S1. So powerful, so touching, absolutely incredibly acted (I guess all female categories in limited series belongs to these ladies - Blanchett was outstanding - I was afraid she will try humanize too much pure evil Phyllis Schlafly but she did everythinh in right balance, but Sarah Paulson - my god, Rose Byrne, Tracey Ullman, Uzo Aduba, Elizabeth Banks, Margo Martindale, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Melanie Lynskey wereall incredible, nuanced, vulnerable, flawed, brave - oh my, I am speechless) surprisingly collaborative (I thought it will be only Cate Blanchett show) so moving, empowering and damn provoking, so well balanced in terms of statements of each side of the conflict, so beautifully concluded. Pure genius wrote the script.
Sorry for being over the top but I am so moved and sort of still shaking. Final scene itself is a masterpiece. Very cinematic, almost without words and those final footages. SO provoking, showing the relevance of what these ladies fought for in 70's and nowadays. Very powerful in vein of Spike Lee's Blackclansman. Sorry! Still very shaky about Mrs.America experience because it was an EXPERIENCE. Please, give it a chance.

I could not get into Mrs. America. I didn't find Cate's performance interesting. It just spells ACTING. The whole show feels stagey. That's just my opinion. The Great, on the other hand, was amazing and whimsical. Finished the whole thing in a day.
