It wouldn't be that bad if they hired Streep. Someone needs to serve the food and take the coffee orders. There's lots of things she could do and I'm sure she'd be good at! I just think there a lot of older actresses out there, Kidman and Streep worked on so many projects, let's explore someone different. Maybe the joke didn't go through, I definitely don't want her anywhere near Nicole never again. I hate her ass

At this point with the shift in the industry streaming limited series has evolved to become movies.
Streamings direct to consumers will take over the industry, as much as a miss cinemas its going to be a while for things to turn around.
I like that Kidman is diversifying her platforms and not just stick to one, it gives her insurance and bargaining power.

Her business skills are out of this world. And then we still get The Northam and L&D, which is still more than most actresses get nowadays. It's easy being her fan - there's always something going on.

Her career definitely looks to be hitting a nice stride. She's got juicy film roles for this year, and we get interesting shows yearly.

Oh, she also bought the rights to The Female Persuasion! No idea where that is.
But let's keep in mind her timeline for projects is a little strange. Roar was bought in 2018, announced this year. 9PS was bought in 2019, announced last year. I haven't lost hope on her domestic thrillers, but I also think her filmography has recently become enumerated with them so I'm not super dissapointed to see her taking a (short?) break from them.

Oh yeah - Grandage is never directing a movie again, for sure. Genius was abysmal, and a complete waste of money for the industry.

I personally would like to see a film version of the play, Cuddles. It is a brilliant play, very dark and twisted, and something I feel she would really excel in.

It sounded so singularly deviant and eccentric. I don't know if Kidman would ever be able to get that made. The older sister's character is too young for her though, I guess. "Imagine a world without sunlight where Harry Potter, Bilbo Baggins and the cast of Dante's Inferno are real; where princes with adjectives instead of names seduce beautiful princesses; where there's just one living, breathing human being to cuddle. Welcome to Eve's world.Eve is a 13-year-old vampire. She has never left her room and everything she knows about anything comes from her sister Tabby and her storybook characters. Eve does everything a good little vampire girl should, including drinking her human sister's blood. But one day, Tabby tires of opening her veins and in a breath, Eve's whole world changes."

Between Gilpin and Brie, gotta go with Brie. But they should definitely hire both! Even if Gilpin is only supporting. Guys, I can't wait for this series.

I wonder how they're going to pull this off, to be honest. I read the book, and the stories in it are SO short and VERY paper-thin in terms of profundity, there's not much to flesh out in them apart from some clumsy/reductive/cliche metaphors. They're going to have to get (a) great screenwriter/s to make this something special, in my opinion..
