People on Twitter….. yep! Gonna say it again - who cares what Twitter thinks (about anything)? It's a bunch of whiny spoiled brats who complain about anything and everything. I suggest we all chill out about the publicity of this film. It's only the movie and the performances themselves that actually matter, so let's not feed into the frenzy / feed the trolls. Fuck 'em You’re absolutely spot on. I’ve wrote similar several pages back. I don’t use it, left years ago. But I still see people sharing online “Twitter said this n that”. Nicole’s not the only target via Twitter. That’s why I wrote people on Twitter…. Yep! Because looks like they’ve moved onto the latest target and drama. I strongly agree not to feed the trolls, but some do unfortunately.

People on Twitter are going nuts with the first look of Lily James and Sebastian Stan as Pam & Tommy. Paparazzi snaps did not do Lily any justice as Pamela compared to this official release of course where lighting and pose can be controlled to make resemblance better. Here is hoping something similar happens with BTR when we get the first glimpse. But lily james is a bad actress, are people seriously putting her in Kidman's vicinity. This just adds more proof that twitter trolls have no clue, and are satisfied with the superficial and artificial. Key priority should be essence over resemblance. But I'm sure lily james is happy that she looks like Pammy in a photoshoped promo still, hope she gives us a good performance I know I haven't been impressed with any of her work to date.

I was talking with Holden on twitter today that I checked her wikipedia page and she really has struggled to find work lately. With the exception of a Dead Wife part in 2020, she hasn't had a substantial film role since 2018's Searching, and she has done no TV since 2017. BTR jokes aside, this bad loser streak and constant complaining is, objectively, very unprofessional, and could be affecting her chances to get roles. Forget talent and profile, the last thing a director wants is a hothead who can't stay civilized. It's one thing to point out Musk shouldn't be hosting SNL, but why make it about her? Why not say actual comedians should get that spot, or that Musk is a questionable personality at best? To get an SNL gig, usually, you must have something to promote. What would that be for you, Debbie? Your nephew's Bat Mitzvah? Also boys have bar mitzvahs, not bat bitzvahs.

There's only one young actress worthy of comparisons to Kidman, and that's Margot Fucking Robbie. Lily James me s all right imp, but she's got nothing on Robbie, let alone Kidman.

I think Robbie is the least exciting it girl to come out of the woodwork yet jajajaja Ever since JLaw, that I think can pull of comedy and drama, Emma Stone is barely decent in drama (but a good comedic actress) and Robbie... can just cry on cue, I guess? The idea of her producing PYW and starring in Bombshell and then being like "let me get amnesia real quick and work with a grade-A abuser like David O'Russell" just so she can finally get the Oscar the industry seems to owe her is... boring as hell.

Agreed with Ventura, Robbie has a long way to go in terms of versatility, but she's a good Harley Quinn.

Agreed with Ventura, Robbie has a long way to go in terms of versatility, but she's a good Harley Quinn. Aww:( I was hoping you guys would be Team Robbie like me. I think she's super versatile. She's 30 but she's already given us fantastic and very diverse performances in The Wolf of Wall Street, I, Tonya, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Birds of Pray and Bombshell. And she's proven she can do accents and play American and British, unlike , say, Jennifer Lawrence who has only ever played Americans. I think Robbie is a powerhouse performer who has yet to knock everybody's socks off. I hope you'll warm up to her in the years to come.

yes, if it's J.Law standard, Robbie is not that strong, but better than Stone for sure. and personally I think she beats Ronan too. I disagree with that. Ronan, for me, is a GODDESS. If I was casting a movie and it was between Stone, Lawrence, Robbie and Ronan, I would definitely go with Ronan. I mean, all four are great, but I don't think Lawrence can do accents, Stone hasn't really proven her versatility(although, props to her for Birdman and The Favourite, two fantastic films), and Robbie has only blew my mind in I, Tonya, The Wolf of Wall Street and Birds of Pray performance wise. Whereas Ronan - my God, where do I begin? Brooklyn? WOW. Atonement? WOW. Little Women? WOW. Lady Bird. WOW WOW. That accent! The Grand Budapest Hotel? Well, she wasn't WOW, but the film itself was brilliant, and the same with Ammonite. Basically, Ronan's filmography is fantastic, and she has 4 Oscar nominations already, and she's only 27. That, to me, is CRAZY. That's how talented she is.

If we talk about 'Kidman vibes' on new actress generation, I say Vanessa Kirby. I thought a lot about Nicole watching Pieces of a Woman

Literally switched off the movie. Ohh c'mon...give it a try again, it's not a perfect movie but there was something in her eyes who reminded me Nicole acting. She was flawless

I find movies about the death of a child really difficult to watch and harrowing. It's just not how I want to spend my time in life. Rabbit Hole was different because it smartly introduced comic reliefs early on. Pieces is just way too somber for me. 🤷🏻♂️

Anyone else think Rosamund Pike is a great comparison to Kidman? She has that very controlled and composed quality that I think other actresses don't always have a grasp on. You can never tell what she's thinking, but she's able to convey so much in so little.
