Another season! Another subject:) So... Too early, but is it safe to say she will have multiple nominations at the Emmys? Big little lies 2 and the undoing, for acting and producing..
with films it's only the Prom.. I honestly don't care about that film getting any awards, I just hope it's a fun successful film with a strong showcase of Kidman's musical side.
But she could potentially score her 16th Golden globes nominations this award season! Another double nods a yearππ€

That would be the first time ever for these two to be nominated in the same category? Right?

I think they were twice nominated in the same category at the Golden Globes :
- in 2001, Nicole won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy/Musical for "Moulin Rouge", Cate was nominated for "Bandits"
- in 2003, they were both nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Drama for "Cold Mountain" and "Veronica Guerin" respectively (Theron won for "Monster")

Super competitive. Hope Nicole gets in. And wins.
While I haven't seen Merritt Wever's show, I've seen her in the 1st season of "Nurse Jackie". Loved her. Happy for her awards attention.

Really competetive! So many contenders. Even more than back in 2017. I hope Nicole's work in The Undoing is strong enough so she could easily gets at least nominations for upcoming season.

So this is what Awards Watch are predicting at the moment: "1. Regina King β Watchmen 2. Cate Blanchett β Mrs. America 3. Merritt Wever β Unbelievable 4. Cynthia Erivo β Genius: Aretha 5. Nicole Kidman β The Undoing 6. Kaitlyn Dever β Unbelievable Also to watch for: Octavia Spencer β Self Made: Inspired by the Life of Madam C.J. Walker Helen Mirren β Catherine the Great Reese Witherspoon β Little Fires Everywhere Kerry Washington β Little Fires Everywhere Zoe Kazan β The Plot Against America Kathryn Hahn β Mrs. Fletcher" I mean, I think these predictions just prove how little the actual performance matters for awards, and more the 'hype' surrounding them. Hardly any of these mentioned are available to see yet!

BLL2 doesn't deserve anything, the Emmys should snub well perhaps Laura Dern and Steep will land supporting noms.
