BLL2 doesn't deserve anything, the Emmys should snub well perhaps Laura Dern and Steep will land supporting noms. do you believe me if i tell you that I haven't seen the second season yet? Give it a watch, its always interesting to hear from Kidmaniacs. Our opinions are ide and varied.

Nicole, Laura and Meryl were simply outstanding. They truly deserve to be nominated. Also the show as a whole even if weaker than first season still was quit beautiful.

Dern deserves everything for this season. Her breakout in the car's scene was a masterpiece... Nicole did the same of the last season. Nothing really impressing but i stan for her double Emmy nomination.

Anyway, Nicole had such a good luck this year. She has no movies planning to be released in theater, or in any prestigious film festival. Only a Tv show and her first Netlix project at the end of this crazy year. She is totally save. I'm totally sure Cannes will be deleted...They are insane if they do not....

I think I've seen many similar "masterpieces" from Laura Dern many times. In Enlightenment, Wild Road, Marriage Story, first deason of BLL... Her quiet moment with husband and judge was more impressive to me. Nicole on the other hand was on another level for me. Celeste was like character from some european movie that only Isabelle Huppert could played. If only BLL as a whole could be more provocative:) Nicole character could make even more impact in different genre/form and that's why I have a small problem with BLL as a whole. Nicole actually impressed me more in Season 2. That growing rage/desperation/violence under her fragility and beauty to the final moments of weakness to being a lioness and lawyer again was incredible for me. She really nailed it and transition of her character was really visible.

It looks like it. Apparently she is paired with Russell Crowe for the "Variety Studio : Actors on Actors" roundtable :

Well:) She have plenty of time to campaign:) At least it's "something". Great. She deserves a nom for Season 2. For me, she was even better in Season 2.

Oh I miss her in an interview! can't wait to see more! why is her face really shiny? did u notice the 'script' on the bench behind her? or at least i hope so... I think it might be her moisturiser - now that I'm turning 30 in just over a month (eep! Help!), I started moisturising, and my face goes super shiny for a while afterwards, and I've got expensive sh*t haha! And omg I hope that's the Northman script!!!!!!!!!!!! If I was the interviewer, I would've been like "So, whatcha got behind you there...?" ;P

I Don't see the pict where she has a scrip behind... Could someone post the full interview? It's just in the videos on the LA Times link on the previous page. No full interview has been released yet. The script is sitting on top of an open novel too, so maybe she's comparing a script to a novel? Maybe 9PS, or something new?
