I do think that Justine Triet would be so an obvious choice for Kidman… I see it as a sure thing that has to happen…

Emma Stone's performance was far superior to Lily Gladstone's, in my mind.
Yet I can not believe the academy let go of an opportunity to make history by awarding the first Native American actress nominated. She had such a narrative and momentum. She bagged the SAG while Oscar voting was still going on.
I guess the international/European/Bafta voters must still have a very strong presence!

I personally didn't like lily's performance, Stone was deserving but two Oscars at 36!! come on! Well atleast some comfort from this is Cate Blanchett has some real competition now.

I'm really glad that Emma Stone won, because she had the best performance.
What a miss opportunity to let Nicole Kidman present the award for best international film and giving it to Jonathan Glazer. I hope they will work again.

But with her extended TV ventures, time is not on our side and so are the Oscars.

Was looking forward to seeing Michelle Pfeiffer on stage presenting. Shame she had to pull out.
